This is the original bat! And it is way more exquisite than the print (and really hard to capture in a photograph). I took this piece around with me as a demonstration of my textured inks and gilding. It was made with watercolors that I made out of my grandmother’s antique jewelry, glitter, glass, and 24k gold leaf. This piece is framed in a high-quality metal frame, with UV protective, non-glare acrylic. It is approximately 16’’x18’’.
