Open Studio on Saturday, May 7th! 9:00am-3:00pm

Address

6085 W. Q Ave.

Kalamazoo, MI 49009

Join us on May 7th for an open studio event! I live off of Q ave right down the street from Texas Corners (closer to Portage). I live down a long driveway, you can’t see the house from the road. I will have a balloon and sign at my mailbox. Don’t be scared! Come visit my studio and see my work in person! I would love to see you.

The Texas Corners Farmers Market opens on this date! If you come before noon, you can go to the farmers market, too!

Day 16

We are buried under snow right now. Well, not literally. But it is snowy, and cold, and miserable. While painting this, I thought of glistening snow surrounding a crisp fallen leaf. I tried to find peace it. It made me look out the window and reflect on nature. I thought about how my children look at the world with fresh and wondrous amazement. My use of glitter is meant to imply this innocent way of looking at the world.

I mustn’t forget that the world is glorious.
